I have been stupidly lucky in Israel, at least when it comes to music. Thanks to a very fab friend, work (no, seriously), and local events, I have seen amazing bands in Israel, including Tpex, Balkan Beat Box, Idan Raichel, Red Band, Ehud Banai, and Yemen Blues.
Not only have I seen these talents live, but most of the shows were in small venues with less than 300 people. Wow. So here is reason five why I love Israel:
5. Music. Lots of it and live. With friends.
